The Great Conjunction!

December 21, 2020.

I bet Wolfie has his telescope out.

The long awaited Jupiter-Saturn conjunction occurs today, on the winter solstice.
What are the odds of that?

It depends on how you look at it.

The way I phrased it lends itself to the odds you posted.

However...

Ted: Today is the winter solstice!
Judy: How nice! What are the odds a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction will occur today?
Ted: 1/365.24, because Dins said so!
Judy: ...

The fact that there hasn’t been a conjunction this close for something like 800 years probably increases the odds somewhat.

Actually the fact that it’s happening right now makes the odds something like 100%.

If you throw in the fact that the Ursid meteor shower is peaking tonight, then you have a fairly unusual celestial triple combination.

Set up the scope out here in the Valley of the Sun and checked it out. Pretty cool.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.
