I think 88 has more important things to do. These boards have a life span and this one is way past its time.

Well said.
88 is interesting because of his logic and reasoning.
I'm interesting because let's face it, I'm way out there.
IB is interesting because he's reflective and searches for deeper meaning.

EAP is Elvis Aaron (with two As, ha!) Presley.
The Big Pickle/Holly Golightly is IP banned.
I'm at the PET bail office trying to negotiate TBP's release, but raising the collateral quickly isn't looking too good.
It's all good, though. Have a good weekend, Screwy.

These leftists can call me every filthy name in the book.
But what they can't argue with are my fact based takes on the left today.
Left wing socialists control the house of representatives.
And they have full control over the state of California and several other states.
These vermin, as Dr. Savage calls them, are against the bill of rights and our liberty.
They don't believe in borders or our sovereignty.
They want one world government rule.
Which, by definition, is the antithesis of our constitution and our liberty.
These are cold hard facts.
There is hope. Boris Johnson rising up. Trump. Etc...
People at a very basic level, crave liberty.
The left will continue their assault on our constitution and our sovereignty. But we the people will fight them like William Wallace fought Longshanks and tyranny in braveheart.
Even with my bowels exposed, I'm gonna belt out "liberty".
We will beat back the tyrannical government control socialists.
We have to.

Re: Board Traffic
Of course. Dramatic license is always taken by directors in movies.
However, my analogy is spot on.
Whether you believe it or not,
The left is government control and the enemy of liberty and our Bill of rights.
You can argue with me till the fat cows come home. No reference to your wife.
But at the end of the day, I'm 100% correct about the left.
Boris Johnson and Donald Trump are the champions of liberty.
You're either for liberty or against it.
Better jump on board the trump train baby!!!

Re: Board Traffic
Braveheart goes way beyond dramatic license. Would it have been too much to have a bridge during the Battle of Stirling Bridge? Never mind the fact that nobody was painting their face or wearing Kilts when Wallace was alive. Gibson couldn't even get shot continuity together. There's scenes where he has a sword, then no sword and then suddenly there's a sword on his hip again. It is literally the most fucked-up movie this side of the Patriot.

Bet you can't say anything negative about "the Passion of the Christ"?
Go head? I dare ya.
The passion isn't a movie.
It's an experience.
As if a portal opened up and transported you back 2000 years to witness the actual events as they happened.

That said, "The Last Temptation" is a far, far superior movie about the subject. It had a better cast and a superior director in Martin Scorsese.

Every director makes a real piece of shit from time to time.
Marty's shit for the ages was "last temptation". I remember people laughing at Willem dafoe and his NY accent. In fact, the acting and screenplay were so awful, people walked out.
A lot of jew faggott film critics loved and praised the film, due in part to their own mental instability.
These same leftist vermin bashed Mel's "the passion" .
These mentally unstable leftists let their political agenda corrupt their jobs as honest film critics.
Years later, it's embarrassing to see what a joke Marty's film was,
And the corrupt unstable weird left wingers who tried in vain to protect his huge pile of shit that bombed.
Years later, it's funny to see a left winger like you defending a turd like "last temptation".
But very revealing nonetheless.
You've always worn your stupidity on your sleeve.
Bet you say "happy holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas", on account of your sheep like politically correct cowardice.

Pointing out the obvious that he makes great movies that people enjoy seeing.
Left wing Hollywood freaks turned on him, YET embrace Roman Polanski who sodomized a 13 year old with a coke bottle.
Funny how you left wing losers try to bring down those who are more successful than you are.
Here's a short list.
Mel
Trump
The king
Brett Favre
The Gipper
The Duke
Hasselhoff
Chuck Heston.
Mitchum
I'VE noticed that the left wing clowns on this board attack, libel, disrespect, slander, ridicule, mock, and disparage these great successful icons.
From a strict psychological perspective, you think it will make you feel better to project your own self hatred onto the best that society has to offer.
The absolute cream of the crop.
Here's some free advice from someone who has studied psychology longer than you've been alive.
This kind of projection only worsens you're already damaged self esteem.
Those great men ooze greatness from the time they were born.
They grab life by the horns and when all is said and done, they lived life to the absolute fullest,
Leaving behind a legacy that will live forever.

Any self respecting mental health professional would advise you dems to eat a bullet.

Buwahahaha.
1.The Man Without a Face - Decent enough debut movie, but nowhere near a classic.
2. Passion of the Christ - Loved by some, including some Elvis drooling faggot, hated by many. It received mixed reviews and Gibson has since re-cut it. It's a brutal film, in an honest way, and is his passion. That said, your obviously Jewish hatred blinds you to the superior nature of Scorcese as a film maker. He's directed 65 films, many are time-tested classics. "Temptation" received almost all positive reviews.
3. Apocalypto - Essentially, "Braveheart" meets "Die Hard" in a forest. 'Nuff said.
4. Braveheart - Solid film, with some technical gaffes you wouldn't see other directors make. B'Smack already addressed this. Played way too much with actual facts, which no, you can't write off to artistic license.
5. Hacksaw Ridge - Again, a solid effort, but Gibson's tendency toward violence can be off putting. Many mixed reviews. Not a classic.
By contrast, here are just six of Martin Scorcese's 65 films:
1. Taxi Driver - A blistering performance by De Niro. Brutal violence, but only at the end of the film, where it was a payoff. Classic.
2. Raging Bull - Again, De Niro in the spotlight. Arguably the best boxing movie ever. Classic.
3. Color of Money - Paul Newman reprising his role from "The Hustler" Tom Cruse was electric and Newman was, as always, excellent. Classic.
4. Goodfellas - All star cast, all star performances. Best gangster movie of all time. Six Oscars, including director. Classic.
5. Gangs of New York - 9 Oscars this time. Once again for Director. Sadistically brilliant movie. Daniel Day-Lewis won as well.
6. The Departed - Another amazing cast and movie. 5 Oscars this time, and again for Director. Classic.
See the common thread there sport?
I haven't even mentioned many others, including "The Wolf of Wall Street" which you were verbally jerking off to because of Jonah Hill jerking off with a prosthetic crank.
Calling me a left winger is priceless. It proves you know nothing whatsoever about me, so you need to back away with that statement. You've worn your fawning gayness toward 88 since you got here. Lord knows he's not responded back. You've also worn your own flagrant idiocy on your drool-drenched sleeve from your first post. You can't even stay in "character" half the time. When you figure out my "politics", I'll get back to you on that topic. You've shown your cinematic knowledge to be nil. Stay off the topic. It doesn't suit you, troll.

Re: Board Traffic
You cleverly mix in spin with half truths.
That tactic works with your low IQ friends.
Has marty had classics? HELL YES!
But last temptation was fawned over by short sighted cocksuckers who worshipped Scorsese.
Examples of how "time" and time to reflect, changes things, BIG TIME.
Apocalypse now received 2 stars upon it's release in 79'.
Now, 40 years later, it's been corrected. It's universally regarded as a film masterpiece.
In 1977, critics gave Star Wars 2 stars.
Today, it's considered a LANDMARK in sci fi, and just good old fashioned film making.
In the 50's, critics bashed rock n roll. Call elvis's music the filth of juvenile delinquents.
Today, every single music critic regards those studio recordings as ICONIC CLASSICS.
True masterpieces of rock n roll.
And, in his case, country and gospel as well.
But I digress....
Marty's "last temptation" went the opposite direction.
Upon release, gay and left wing film critics sucked Marty's cock BIG TIME on his jesus picture.
Today, the film is routinely seen as pure drivel. Pure shit.
The lens of history is very unkind to pure shit and drivel.
More examples????
Best picture 1979. Kramer vs. Kramer.
LMFAO
Today? That schlock wouldn't work as a daytime soap.
Best picture 1980. Ordinary people.
LMFAO.
Today it's not only dated, but a piece of trash.
I've got a list of books movies music and art that at the time of release, were given major accolades by left wing vermin cocksucker critics.
Today? They are laughably dated and seen as pure shit.
So don't give me your crap about Marty's "last temptation".
When you try that shit, you show the board that you deep throat Marty's cock, and have done so your entire life.
Mel's "the passion" was panned by left wing faggot critics because they are part of the elitist Hollywood left.
Any real honest critic worth their salt today, has since called "the passion" a masterpiece.
A true work of art.
It's a benchmark in cinema.
In fact, to even bring up Marty's shitty "last temptation" in the same sentence as "the passion".
Is proof positive that you either have a low IQ, or are mentally unstable.
I own a collection of films that totals over 1000.

I never said "Passion" wasn't a classic. It is. Scorcese is a better film maker and it is a superior movie on the subject of Christ. Gibson made a snuff film, albeit a very pretty one...I guess. YET, the left wing fag critics bashed it as garbage.
THAT'S the very definition of BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA.
Those leftist critics were LYING.
TODAY, mel's film is widely considered a masterpiece.
The analogy to apocalypse now was spot on.
Critics bashed Coppola's film in 79.
Today, it's widely considered a masterpiece.
You are clueless and lost here.
You suck Scorsese's shrimp dick over his most embarrassingly bad film.
Then you say I'm dumb?
In 2002, why were you invested in blockbuster, when that same money in amazon could've made your net worth 40 million?
Huh left wing troll?
Joe dirt and monty python's life of Brian, are two better films than Marty's last temptation.
You usually have spot on takes.
But on this particular subject, you are completely and utterly wrong.

Re: Board Traffic
Life of Brian was genius in its own way. That's Monty Python for you.
But Joe Dirt? Really? Now I know this is an utter troll job. Bully for you.
You just admitted you have nothing, congrats.
Oh, and how was I invested in Blockbuster? Aren't YOU the moron with 1000 movies?
When you stop cutting your own throat, maybe...just maybe I'll touch on this again.
In the meantime, go back to the sandbox for a timeout, troll.

IB? How did you make that leap? Stating that Martin Scorsese is a great director is by no means stating a religious affiliation.
I don't adhere to any religion, and I am certainly not Jewish. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
