Did you know broadband proliferation is greater in Canada than it is in the US? Believe me, everyone I know has highspeed internet, so that's no excuse. Comcast just sucks. I could tell you that even though I'm not a customer. Just look at what they did to one of my favourite channels (TechTV).

Cable does not blow. I switched from DSL a couple of years ago and haven't noticed any slowdown because of it being a "shared network". With DSL my downloads maxed out around 150k/s. Now I'd be upset if it was that slow. I usually get 300-500k/s, and have seen it go as high as 800k/s.

It's more like the latter, but still wonderful.

I've heard good things about that site. But I'll never pay a cent for an mp3 so I'll pass. Its legality is also in question.

2004 was the year that the Pixies reformed and quite a few favourites from the 80's saw they could make a buck by joining them. Are you planning to see any other newly reformed bands? Duran Duran is touring this spring (I'm looking at you, PrimeX.)
